Sobre el intento de Golpe de Estado en Venezuela

Venezuela vive horas extremadamente graves por el intento de su oligarquía de forzar un golpe de Estado auspiciado abiertamente por el imperialismo yanqui y sus aliados, aprovechando la profunda crisis económica y social que vive el país y la debilidad del Gobierno de Maduro.

          Detrás de esta nueva intentona se encuentra EEUU, que siempre ha considerado Latinoamérica y el Caribe como su patio trasero. La lista de golpes reaccionarios auspiciados por el imperialismo yanqui y sus socios, es interminable.  A lo largo de la segunda mitad del siglo XX y hasta nuestros días, la mano imperialista está detrás de una larga serie de asonadas que provocaron sufrimientos incontables a la clase obrera y los pueblos hermanos: Brasil y Bolivia (1964), Perú (1968), Chile y Uruguay (1973), Argentina (1976), Paraguay (1989), Haití (2004), etc., son otros tantos ejemplos. El propio ejército imperialista intervino directamente en Cuba (Bahía Cochinos, 1961), la República Dominicana (1965-66), Panamá (1989).

          Hoy, el agravamiento de la crisis capitalista está provocando la agudización de la pelea comercial, política y también militar entre las grandes potencias imperialistas, por ganar áreas de influencia. De Colombia nunca se fue y en Chile, Argentina, etc., la derecha más reaccionaria y sumisa al dictado yanqui está ocupando de nuevo los gobiernos, aprovechando las profundas contradicciones que han terminado por derrumbar los experimentos de transformación social comandados por la burguesía reformista, que en ningún caso pusieron en cuestión el poder de las oligarquías nacionales.

          Con todo, y a pesar de las graves contradicciones del extenso movimiento reformista que prometió un nuevo rumbo para las clases trabajadoras latinoamericanas de una punta a otra del subcontinente sin cambiar de hecho la estructura de poder en sus países, lo que está en juego ahora es la sumisión de los pueblos hermanos a los dictados del imperialismo norteamericano, su sumisión a la bota  yanqui, y la imposición de la dictadura descarnada del capital en todos ellos.

          No, no son los Bolsonaro, Macri, Piñera, Duque o Guaidó quienes van a traer la justicia social y la paz a la región; su objetivo es otro: terminar con los sueños de la pequeña y media burguesía e imponer de nuevo la dictadura descarnada del capital. El ejemplo de Cuba prueba que sólo es posible sostener los cambios sociales cuando se arrebata a la oligarquía los instrumentos de control de la economía, y únicamente en la medida en que éstos se someten al control popular.

          En España, los gobiernos monárquicos nunca han sido neutrales en Venezuela: la amistad entre Felipe González y el campeón de la corrupción, Carlos Andrés Pérez, que encabezó la privatización de empresas públicas venezolanas provocando una crisis social de dramáticas consecuencias, tuvo su continuidad en el apoyo del Gobierno Aznar al intento de Golpe Militar que sufrió Venezuela en 2002. Tampoco lo son en estas dramáticas horas que vive el pueblo venezolano.

          Los trabajadores españoles no podemos, por lo tanto, ser neutrales. La declaración del reaccionario Ministro de AA. EE., Josep Borrell, supeditando la posición del estado monárquico a la decisión de la UE, viene a negar de nuevo la soberanía del pueblo venezolano y santificar la injerencia imperialista en los asuntos de ese país hermano, para dejar solo a su pueblo frente a las fuerzas de la reacción y del imperialismo. Por su parte el dirigente nacional reaccionario Casado, Presidente del PP,  quien hace unas semanas ofreciera a Trump la utilización de suelo español como base permanente de los Comandos Sur y África del ejército yanqui, ha declarado su pleno apoyo al Golpe reaccionario en marcha, solicitando expresamente la intervención imperialista en los asuntos internos de Venezuela. Las declaraciones de estos y otros servidores del capital, pretenden dar un barniz de legitimidad a lo que no es sino una nueva injerencia del imperialismo yanqui.

          Debemos combatir este nuevo intento de golpe reaccionario y expresar nuestra solidaridad con los trabajadores y el pueblo venezolanos, a quienes se quiere someter de nuevo al dictado del imperialismo y a la dictadura abierta de su corrupta oligarquía.

          Nuestro Partido, expresa su pleno apoyo a los trabajadores venezolanos, a las organizaciones revolucionarias y, de manera particular, a nuestro partido hermano (Partido Comunista Marxista Leninista de Venezuela-PCMLV), que en las más duras condiciones promueven un cambio real que garantice el control popular del Estado.

ON THE ATTEMPT OF A COUP D’ETAT IN VENEZUELA

Venezuela is experiencing an extremely serious period due to the attempt of its oligarchy to force a coup d'état, openly sponsored by Yankee imperialism and its allies, taking advantage of the deep economic and social crisis that the country is experiencing and the weakness of the Maduro Government.

Behind this new attempt is the US, which has always considered Latin America and the Caribbean as its back yard. The list of reactionary coups sponsored by Yankee imperialism and its partners is endless. Throughout the second half of the 20th century and up to today, the imperialist hand has been behind a long series of violent protests that have caused countless suffering to the working class and fraternal peoples: Brazil and Bolivia (1964), Peru (1968) , Chile and Uruguay (1973), Argentina (1976), Paraguay (1989), Haiti (2004), etc., are some examples. The imperialist army itself intervened directly in Cuba (Bay of Pigs, 1961), the Dominican Republic (1965-66) and Panama (1989).

Today, the worsening of the capitalist crisis is causing the sharpening of the commercial, political and also military struggle among the great imperialist powers to gain spheres of influence. They have never left Colombia, and in Chile, Argentina, etc., the most reactionary right-wing that is submissive to the Yankee dictates is again occupying the governments, taking advantage of the profound contradictions that have ended up overturning the experiments of social transformation led by the reformist bourgeoisie, which in no case put in question the power of the national oligarchies.

However, despite the serious contradictions of the extensive reformist movement that promised a new direction for the Latin American laboring classes from one end of the subcontinent to the other, without actually changing the power structure in their countries, what is at stake now is the submission of the brotherly peoples to the dictates of US imperialism, their submission to the Yankee boot, and the imposition of the stark dictatorship of capital in all of them.

No, it is not Bolsonaro, Macri, Piñera, Duque or Guaidó who will bring social justice and peace to the region; its objective is different: to put an end to the dreams of the small and middle bourgeoisie and to re-impose the open dictatorship of capital. The example of Cuba proves that it is only possible to sustain social changes when the instruments of control of the economy are snatched from the oligarchy, and only insofar as they are subjected to popular control.

In Spain, monarchist governments have never been neutral in Venezuela: the friendship between Felipe González and the champion of corruption, Carlos Andrés Pérez, who led the privatization of Venezuelan public enterprises causing a social crisis with dramatic consequences, had its continuity in the support of the Aznar Government for the Military Coup attempt that Venezuela suffered in 2002. Nor are they neutral n these dramatic hours that the Venezuelan people are going through.

We Spanish workers cannot, therefore, be neutral. The statement of the reactionary Minister of Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, subjecting the position of the monarchist state to the decision of the EU, negates once again the sovereignty of the Venezuelan people and sanctifies the imperialist interference in the affairs of that brother country, in order to leave its people alone to face the forces of reaction and imperialism. For his part, the reactionary national leader Casado, President of the PP [People’s Party, Spain], who a few weeks ago offered Trump the use of Spanish soil as a permanent base for the Southern Command and African Command of the Yankee army, has declared his full support for the reactionary coup in progress, expressly requesting imperialist intervention in the internal affairs of Venezuela. The declarations of these and other servants of capital aim to give a veneer of legitimacy to what is nothing but a new interference by Yankee imperialism.

We must fight this new attempt at a reactionary coup and express our solidarity with the Venezuelan workers and people, whom they want to subject once again to the dictates of imperialism and the open dictatorship of their corrupt oligarchy.

Our Party expresses its full support to the Venezuelan workers, to the revolutionary organizations and, in particular, to our sister party (Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Venezuela – PCMLV), which under the harshest conditions is promoting a real change that guarantees popular control of the State.
