Il est possible que Mme. Anglade n'était pas au courant de la véritable nature du FNJ, mais si elle ne l'était pas avant, elle est au courant maintenant.
On ne peut pas dire autant pour le vénérable Irwin Cotler, ce grand défenseur des droits de la personne qui, dès son arrivée devant l'hôtel, fut hués parmi des cris de « raciste«, lui qui est sciemment complice des politiques racistes d'Israël envers la population palestinienne, et dans les territoires palestiniens occupés et à l'intérieur d'Israël. Il ne s'est jamais déguisé en «blackface» mais ses préjugés sont réels!
L'ancien maire de Montréal, Denis Coderre fut l'invité d'honneur ( ou plutôt l'invité du déshonneur)

At the Jewish National Fund Gala in Montreal on September 19, 2019, members of Independent Jewish Voices and Palestinian and Jewish Unity (PAJU) gathered in front of the Windsor Hotel to denounce the JNF, the Israeli agency responsible for managing Palestinian land stolen by Israel and the Charter of which forbids the sale or rental of these lands to non-Jews. In the photo we see Ms.Dominique Anglade, Liberal Member of the National Assembly of Quebec (Vice-chair of the Committee on Institutions, Official Opposition Critic for the Economy, Official Opposition Critic for Immigration) before entering the Gala. It is possible that Ms. Anglade was not aware of the true nature of the JNF, but if she was not, she knows now.
We cannot say as much for the venerable Irwin Cotler, that great defender of human rights who, as soon as he arrived in front of the hotel, was booed among cries of "racist", he who is knowingly complicit with the racist policies of Israel towards the Palestinian population, both in the occupied Palestinian territories and inside Israel itself. He has never disguised himself in "blackface" but his prejudices are real!
